 CNN: Now Is The Time


A recent CNN Money article titled, “Thinking About Selling Your Home? This May Be The Time” stated that home sellers who are looking to get top dollar for their home, “the time to sell is now.”

The reasoning is not that there will be more inventory, but, instead that there will be less demand. 

Some experts predict peak home prices could happen now or in June 2022. 

They point to mortgage rates over 5% and the projection that mortgage rates will rise.

Generally, home sellers are slow to recognize the change in the market and might still expect crazy bidding wars.

When there is no quick sale and a lack of offers, home sellers might realize they need to lower their asking prices. 

I know from my recent experience potential sellers are worried about not being able to find another home in which to move.

I am a full-time real estate professional who focuses on the Mission Bay community in West Boca Raton, Florida.   My primary areas of focus is on Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach; however, I have worked with customers to the north up to Port St. Lucie, Florida and further south into Broward County and Dade County as well.
